These Membership Rules ("Rules") govern all membership categories on www.hindusewa.org, including Regular Members, Senior Members (Officer to Patron), Life Members, Ikai Members, Influencer Members, Honorary Members. All members must adhere strictly to these Rules, the Code of Conduct, Terms & Conditions, Security Policy, and organizational mission of peaceful sewa, social welfare, and Hindu unity. Violations lead to warnings, suspension, termination, or permanent debarring without refund.
1. Core Principles and Code of Conduct
All members pledge to:
- Promote Hinduism through peaceful, constructive sewa (service) – temple support, education for poor children, medical aid, gau raksha, disaster relief, and community welfare.
- Spread messages of harmony, respect for all religions/communities, and national unity; never engage in or encourage hatred, communal discord, violence, riots, or property damage.
- Help the underprivileged without discrimination based on caste, region, gender, or economic status, embodying "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" (world as one family).
- Act as positive ambassadors, upholding truth, non-violence (ahimsa), integrity, and transparency in all actions.
2. Prohibited Activities (Zero Tolerance)
Members must never:
- Engage in political campaigning, support/endorsement of parties/candidates, or misuse the organization's name for elections.
- Post/share hate speech, inflammatory content, fake news, or communal propaganda on social media or public forums in the name of HinduSewa.org.
- Participate in illegal activities, fraud, unauthorized fundraising, cybercrimes, harassment, or actions harming India's reputation/security.
- Use membership for personal/commercial gain, business solicitation, or multi-level marketing schemes.
- Disrupt public peace, damage property, or promote vigilantism under any pretext. Violations result in immediate termination.
3. Use of Name, Logo, Brand, and Identity
- The names "HinduSewa.org", "Hindu Sewa Dal", logos, symbols, and trademarks may only be used for approved organizational activities with prior written permission from the core team.
- No printing of banners, visiting cards, merchandise, or IDs without standard design templates and central approval.
- Social media handles/profiles must clearly state affiliation (e.g., "Member of HinduSewa.org Ikai XYZ") and link to the official website; no independent claims of authority.
- Unauthorized use leads to cease-and-desist notices, membership cancellation, and potential legal action for trademark infringement.
4. Social Media and Public Representation Guidelines
- All posts must align with organizational values: peace, sewa, positivity, and Hindu cultural pride without targeting other faiths.
- Tag @HinduSewaDal in relevant posts; share official content, event photos (with consent), and project updates to amplify impact.
- Prohibited: Controversial opinions, unverified claims, or content that could incite division – such posts must be deleted immediately upon notice.
- Members represent the organization publicly; professional, respectful conduct is mandatory online/offline.
5. Special Rules for Influencer Members
Influencer Members (those with significant social media following) agree to:
- Promote only verified HinduSewa.org campaigns/projects after core team approval.
- Disclose affiliation transparently (#HinduSewaOrg #SponsoredSeva or similar).
- No paid promotions, affiliate links, or personal monetization using the brand.
- Provide periodic reports of reach/impact from promotional posts.
- Violations (e.g., fake endorsements) result in immediate debarring and public disassociation.
6. Membership Fees, Renewal, and Non-Payment Consequences
- Fees are non-refundable under all circumstances, including termination for cause.
- Non-payment after the last date leads to automatic suspension of benefits (events, updates, recognition) until cleared.
- Suspended members lose voting rights, Ikai positions, and platform access; repeated defaults result in permanent expulsion.
7. Membership Categories and Specific Obligations
Executive Members:
- Participate in local sewa drives, report activities quarterly.
- Attend at least 4 events/year or contribute equivalent sewa hours.
Senior Members (Officer → Patron):
- Leadership roles in Ikais; mentor juniors, organize events.
- Higher accountability – financial transparency, activity reports mandatory.
- Annual performance review by core team; underperformance may lead to downgrade.
Ikai Members:
- Follow Kshetriya Ikai Rules; submit monthly activity summaries.
- Ikai funds separate from personal; audited annually by central team.
Life/Patron Members:
- Recognition on website (with consent); advisory input invited.
- Expected to lead by example in philanthropy and outreach.
All categories: Maintain active profile, respond to official communications within 7 days.
8. Reporting, Activities, and Transparency
- Document all sewa activities with photos, beneficiary consent, and basic reports; upload via member dashboard.
- Focus projects: temple Restoration, Education sponsorship, medical camps, gau sewa, tree plantation, disaster relief, etc.
- Funds collected locally must be used 100% for stated purposes; excess remitted to central fund with receipts.
- Annual membership renewal requires self-certification of compliance.
9. Disciplinary Process and Termination
- Warning: First minor violation (e.g., improper post) – written notice to correct.
- Suspension: Second violation or serious issue (e.g., unauthorized fundraising) – 30–90 days, all privileges paused.
- Termination/Debarring: Violence, fraud, hate speech, or repeated breaches – immediate, permanent removal, no appeal.
- Core committee decision final; public disassociation issued if needed.
- No refunds; details may be shared with law enforcement.
10. Dispute Resolution and Liability Protection
- Internal grievances resolved via core committee within 30 days.
- Unresolved disputes subject to exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Delhi/New Delhi only.
- Siddh Dharmic Sewa Foundation, promoters, trustees, staff, volunteers, etc., bear no liability for any member's independent actions worldwide. Members indemnify the organization against all claims arising from their conduct.
11. Amendments and Acceptance
- Rules may be updated; members notified via email/dashboard. Continued membership constitutes acceptance.
- By enrolling/renewing, members affirm: "I have read, understood, and commit to these Rules in full."
